Capturing the spirit of Iceland's rugged highlands, the photographic lens focuses on the age-old tradition of sheep gathering at Landmannaafrétt, near the picturesque Landmannalaugar. Amidst this serene, untamed landscape, the intricate dance between shepherd and flock unfolds, a testament to resilience and communal bonds. Each image, vibrant and raw, tells a story of heritage and connection - a visual narrative of Iceland's enduring customs and the timeless beauty of its land.
I enjoyed being a guest at the newest luxury hotel in Reykjavíl, The Reykjavík Edition, and capturing brand imagery for Marriott’s use. As the hotel states, “The Reykjavik EDITION brings the first 5-star modern luxury experience to one of the world’s most sustainable capitals.”
I have done a lot of work to help promote Iceland, and Inspired by Iceland has certainly been a part of that. I have had an ongoing content creation partnership with this great company, as well as participating in influencer and social media campaigns, content consulting, and more.

I captured imagery for Harper Collin’s Stunning Iceland: The Hedonist’s Guide. This book invites you to, “Go beyond the ordinary with this remarkable travelogue, guidebook, and coffee table keepsake filled with spectacular color photography that showcases Iceland’s stunning beauty and hidden gems, from its fjords and highlands to the Western Islands and the capital Reykjavik—the first entry in the Hedonist’s Guide travel series.”
One of my favorite things to capture are the stunning textures and surfaces that can be found all over Iceland - both man-made and completely natural. It constantly blows my mind to see how beautiful Iceland can be, especially from above.
A new Hilton hotel opened in the heart of downtown Reykjavík and I was there to capture imagery, as well as create content and promotion images for its grand opening.
I love helping to capture these wonderful moments for people as they begin a new journey together, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of Icelandic nature. I teamed up with Visit Westfjords to capture images of this beautiful and more remote part of Iceland in order to boost tourism and appreciation for the area.
One of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland opened a beautiful and intimate place to relax and stay, The Retreat at Blue Lagoon. I helped capture images and create content for the inauguration of the new location.
I am an official Squarespace ambassador and have been using the program for all of my website needs for the past few years.
I participated in this project with my friend Gísli Matthías, chef and owner of Slippurinn, of Vestmannaeyjar (The Westman Islands). This project was specifically for the book, Slippurinn: Recipes and Stories from Iceland.
I collaborated with the company to capture Iceland-based imagery for their Lúlla doll, a sleep companion for babies. As they state, “The Lulla doll and the Lulla owl are multi-award-winning sleep companions that help children sleep longer & improve well-being”
There are so many “lonely houses” I have stumbled upon while traversing Iceland’s countryside. It inspired me to begin collecting images of them.
I participated in content creation, campaign photography, and storytelling for Iceland Responsible Fisheries.
My partnership with Icelandic Provisions has included providing content creation, strategy work, and participating in photoshoots in Iceland. As their website states, “Icelandic Provisions is the only authentic Icelandic Skyr brand in the United States that uses heirloom Icelandic Skyr cultures and a recipe that dates back thousands of years.”
I helped participate in campaigns and providing imagery for the Icelandic Lamb cooperative of Iceland. Icelandic Lamb is a cooperative of sheep & lamb farmers in Iceland safeguarding, protecting and promoting Icelandic lamb.
Part of the official initiative to promote the Icelandic horse, internationally and in Iceland, I teamed up with the company Horses of Iceland for social media consulting and content creation. According to their website, “Horses of Iceland is a strategic marketing plan developed by stakeholders in the Icelandic horse community to increase the awareness and strengthen the image of the Icelandic horse in international markets.
This partnership allowed me to capture photos of the elusive Icelandic Arctic Fox to be used across various mediums, such as billboards and in their corporate and commercial magazines. As Fjällräven states, their company “is an outdoor clothing and equipment company that’s committed to making nature more accessible. In true Swedish style, we focus on simplicity and practicality, and we have the utmost respect for the environment”.
Eleven Experience is one of the leading hotels and resorts in Iceland. I had the pleasure of collaborating with them in content creation, social media collaboration, and capturing photos of their stunning location.
I have helped Condé Nast Traveler with both content creation and providing images for their publications - this particular story including a collaboration with Land Rover. According to them, “Condé Nast Traveler will inspire your travel wish list with the best-kept secrets of today's top tastemakers.”
In collaboration with Carbfix, which focuses on carbon-capture technology, I helped capture images and content for its initial launch. As they put it, they “turn CO2 into stone.”
A Canon Nordic Ambassador since 2018, I have worked with Canon in creating content, testing out gear, participating in campaigns, and other various projects.
